Dennis has served as the pastor of Pendleton Baptist Church since 1970. Both pastor and church gradually developed a Calvinistic view of redemption, culminating in the adoption of the 1689 Confession of Faith in 1978.
Upon completion of his Bachelors Degree, Dennis received his Masters of Religious Education from Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary, his Master of Divinity from Anderson School of Theology, his MA in Psychology from Ball State University, and his Doctor of Ministry from Luther Rice Seminary. He has served on the Board Of Directors for the Center for Mental Health in Madison County and frequently contributes articles to local publications.
Dennis and his wife Karen have been married for 47 years. They have a married daughter with three children, and a married son with two children.
