Ron came to faith while serving in the US Navy in 1976. Ron has been in the pastorate for over 25 years serving two congregations in Massachusetts and, for the past 11 years Grace Reformed Baptist Church of Brunswick, Maine. Ron is a graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary and a PhD candidate at the University of Maine. He has been married to Joan (whom he met while doing short term missions in Zambia in 1979) for 35 years: they have four grown children. Ron has contributed both articles and book reviews to theological and historical journals and is Associate Editor of The Journal of the Institute of Reformed Baptist Studies. Ron also regularly lectures in Old Testament and Church History at the Copperbelt Ministerial College and the Lusaka Ministerial College in Zambia. His publications include, Travel with Jonathan Edwards (with Michael Haykin), By Common Confession: Essays in Honor of James M. Renihan (contributor and coeditor), Confessing the Impassible God, (contributor and coeditor), and has contributed biographies of William Van Horne, Charles Lahatt, and Daniel Merrill to A Noble Company - Biographical Essays on Notable Particular-Regular Baptists in America, published by Particular Baptist Press.
